This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect through clearpathcomplianceindia.com and related contact channels, why we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us, or when it is needed to run the website safely.

Enquiry and contact forms

When you send an enquiry (for example the free requirement check), we may collect:

Stage of the project (new plant, expansion, running plant, and similar)

Phone, WhatsApp and email

If you call, message us on WhatsApp, or email us, we keep the contact details and the content of that conversation so we can reply and, if you ask us to, prepare a quote or manage your file.

Website use

Like most sites, our server and tools may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate time of visit. We use Google Analytics (property ID G-NE4Y10K7BY) to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Analytics tools may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some site features may then work less well.

What we do not collect through the public site

We do not ask for passwords, Aadhaar, PAN, bank account numbers or payment card details on the public enquiry forms. If a licence application later needs identity or business documents, we will ask for them separately and only for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use enquiry details to send unrelated marketing unless you ask us to keep you on a mailing list.

Legal basis (DPDP Act)

Where the DPDP Act applies, we rely on your consent when you submit a form or tick the contact consent box, and on legitimate uses needed to respond to a request you initiated or to perform a contract if you hire us. You may withdraw consent for future contact by emailing us; that will not affect processing already completed lawfully.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only when needed:

Government departments and portals, when you ask us to file or follow up on an application and the filing needs your or your plant’s details

We do not share enquiry details with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up, and then for a reasonable period in case you return with the same plant file (typically up to 24 months for unanswered marketing-style enquiries, longer if you become a client and the records form part of the engagement file). Client files are kept for the engagement and for any period Indian law or the engagement letter requires. Analytics data is kept according to the tool’s settings and is mostly aggregate.

Security

We use HTTPS on this website and limit access to enquiry and client information to people who need it for the work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if you suspect misuse of your data, contact us straight away.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and other law, you may ask us to:
